NANCY DEROCHER, DVMOWNER
Dr. Nancy Derocher is our Practice Owner now since January 2017. Dr. Derocher is from a little French Canadian town near Miramichi in New Brunswick. She graduated from the Atlantic Veterinary Clinic in Prince Edward Island where she met her husband, Halsy Derocher. They both live here in Greene with their two children, Valerie & Grant. Dr. Derocher specializes in small animal surgery. She also has a special interest in birds. She is very excited in keeping TVS a privately owned business compared to all the corporation found in all the surrounding towns. She thanks everyone that is supporting us!

CHRIS GERARDI, DVMAssociate VeterinarianDr. Gerardi grew up on Long Island, New York where her love for animals began at a young age while volunteering at her local shelter. After graduating from James Madison University in Virginia, she completed the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program at St. George’s University in Grenada. Since becoming a DVM, Dr. Gerardi has developed a passion for small animal medicine with a strong interest in oncology and nephrology. In her spare time she loves watching sports and spending time outdoors with her two adorable dogs, Guinness and Preston. She is very active with rescue groups and will often have a foster dog to keep her pups company at her home. Dr Gerardi is excited about exploring Maine, and you might also find her enjoying live music and the local food scene.

CLAIRE MORISSETTE GIRARDIN, VMDAssociate Veterinarian
Dr. Claire Morissette Girardin (goes by Dr. Morissette) grew up in Auburn, Maine with a dream of becoming a small animal veterinarian. She received her Bachelor degree in Animal Science from the University of Maine in Orono. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. She is excited to be returning to the Turner area. Dr. Morissette lives in Auburn with her husband John and their two children; Grace and Noah. Her family includes two fun-loving dogs; Obi-Wan and Luke, and four cats; Mabel, Rusty, Gizmo and Gadget. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and loves being outdoors, especially at the ocean.

VICKI DAPOLITO, DVMAssociate Veterinarian
Dr. Vicki Dapolito obtained her bachelors degree in Biology and German from Augustana college in Rock Island, IL, then her DVM degree from University of Illinois in Champaign, IL. She started her veterinary career practicing at small animal hospitals in the Chicago suburbs, then moved to the New England area in 1988 after meeting her husband, Steve who is a Massachusetts native. For the past thirty years, she has obtained extensive experience in medicine and surgery practicing at various hospitals in southern New Hampshire. She and her husband have recently relocated to Casco, Maine and are excited to live here and enjoy all the outdoor activities it has to offer. Vicki and her husband Steve have two adult children that live out of state but grew up coming to Maine for many family vacations and will enjoy coming back to visit. Vicki and Steve also share their home with their two cats, Jolene and Marty. Vicki has special interests in radiology, dentistry and ophthalmology. She enjoys being outdoors in general, spending her free time kayaking, hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, playing tennis, zumba and practicing yoga. She is excited to join the team at Turner Veterinary Service and looks forward to building strong relationships with the clients and their pets.
