Sophie PostHospital Manager
Sophie has been in the veterinary field since being 15 years old and joined TVS in May 2017 as the new manager. She previously worked at Norway Veterinary Hospital in Norway and Taylor Brook Animal Hospital in Auburn. When not at work, Sophie attends Husson University majoring in Business Administration. She also has a 5 year old son, who keeps her busy from morning to night. She resides in Rumford, and is also the mom to quite a number of animals.
Rhonda BaillargeonLicensed Veterinary Technician
Rhonda holds an Associate Degree in Animal Medical Technology and has worked at TVS since 1997. She handles all aspects of animal care, including laboratory analysis, radiology, surgical assisting, client education and equipment maintenance. She also helps mentor new technicians coming to the practice. An avid ATV-er, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Marc, at their camp and riding ATV trails around the state of Maine. She also enjoys chicken and goat farming, gardening and sewing.
Shelley GreenClient Service Representative
Shelley joined TVS in 2006 and is responsible for scheduling your appointment, greeting and checking you in and out and making sure the schedule runs smoothly. When Shelley is not at work she enjoys camping, ice fishing, going to the ocean, spending time with her family and sporting events. Shelley lives in Turner with her boyfriend Matt and has 4 children Tyler, Jordan, Madison and Keegan and a granddaughter Brooklyn.
Kacie ButcherClient Service Representative
You will find Kacie at the front desk answering your phone calls, making your appointments and seeing that your pet feels welcome. Kacie enjoys spending time with her fiancée, Matt, and daughter Kameo and Kennedy. They enjoy 4-wheeling, working on diesel trucks and going to camp. Kacie has 1 dog ‘Blake’, 5 alpacas, a goat and numerous chickens.
Mackenzie StevensonVeterinary Technician
Mackenzie (Mack) has 12 years of on the job training, 4 of which were in Emergency Medicine. She assists the doctors in x-ray, surgery, dental cleaning, lab work and client education. She has a great husband, Tyler and two wild boys, Wyatt and Isaac. When she is not spending time with them, she likes to bike or run. She has a B.A. in Fine Arts and specializes in watercolor portraits, but her love for animals has kept her going strong as a veterinary technician. Mack has been on the TVS team since 2010.
Ashley PirrucelloVeterinary Technician
Ashley graduated from the University of Maine at Orono with a Bachelor’s degree in Animal & Veterinary Sciences, and came to work full time at TVS, in May 2011. She assists our doctors in the clinic with appointments, lab work and surgeries. She enjoys spending her free time outdoors with her husband Tony either horseback riding, hunting, fishing or relaxing at Bear Pond. Ashley enjoys spending time with her husband, Tony, and their children, Addy and Blake. She also has two dogs, ‘Tyson’ and ‘Maya’, and two cats, 'Louie' and 'Ellie'.
Christin CurrierVeterinary Technician
Christin came to work at TVS full time in January 2016 from a cat only practice in Colorado. She is a great team player who can be found assisting the doctors and other technicians with appointments, surgeries, and everything in between. Christin and her husband, Will, recently moved to Wales where they share their home with 2 dogs, “Coal” and “Kaleesi:, and 2 cats, “Killer” and “Eevee”. In her free time she enjoys photography, fishing, reading, hiking with her husband and dogs, and spending time with family at Brettun’s Pond.
Karla Leandri RiderVeterinary Technician
Karla has been involved with animal welfare since 2011. She started her career as a Visitor Service Representative/Foster and Transport Coordinator at the Greater Androscoggin Humane Society and then as a Technician at Lisbon Road Animal Hospital before joining TVS in June of 2017. Karla assists the doctors with appointments, lab work, and surgery. She is currently enrolled in an online Veterinary Technology program through San Juan College and hopes to become a licensed technician. Karla resides in Auburn with her husband, Erik, and two dogs and four cats. In her free time, she enjoys mountain biking in the summer, and fat biking and snowshoeing in the winter.
Michelle AutyClient Service Representative
Michelle has been in the veterinary field since 2012, joining Turner Veterinary Service in August 2017. She takes pride in her role here at TVS which includes, checking patients in and out, scheduling appointments, answering the phones, and over all making sure our patients and clients feel welcomed! She enjoys anything involved with being outdoors, and taking care of her handful of pets.
